A residential development in Borrowdale needed its own dedicated wastewater treatment plant to produce high-quality final effluent that complies with Zimbabwe’s Blue Normal discharge standards.
SewTreat designed a 200 kL/day plant using IFAS biological treatment for efficient, stable performance. The treated water will be reused for irrigation and sold back to tenants in the development by the POA.

Borrowdale required a dedicated wastewater treatment solution because the council sewer plant did not have the capacity to handle the residential development’s wastewater.
